What a harsh winter period we have had. Lots of snow, super cold, in some cases approaching -30 degrees at night, and how happy and grateful I was for a warm house.
Because I was somewhat more housebound than usual during the first period of 2026 due to back problems and other ailments, I didn’t enjoy the snow much. I was able to experience what true friendship means and how valuable it is to look out for one another. Not only during physical limitations, but also during moments when practical help is needed. For instance, I had no or little to no drinking water for days, and there was always a neighbor or friend who came to bring water. Or if the car wouldn’t start several times, help from a neighbor was there immediately! What about clearing snow: one message in the church app and help was there.
During this period, I truly experienced how God was there for me, and I know that He is still the Same today!
