Lately the two teenage girls with whom I have regular contact have been over for another night. This time separately so I could have quality time with both of them. Conversations about studies, friendships, life, faith, etc.
There is clearly a need for a place where young people can come together and also grow in their relationship with God. I have opened up my home for this and in the near future Agris, Sabine, who has a heart for young people, and I will be discussing how to shape this further.
With Freedom61, we will continue our weekly café outreach. We will also start individual English lessons with one of the women. She hopes to leave the streets this year and wants to learn English, because it will give her more job opportunities. It is a new opportunity to interact with the women who come our way and we hope more will join.
