After more than a year and a half, Deborah is visiting again! She has been part of the Let’s go team from the beginning, but most of all she is one of my best friends. It is nice to have her around and to be able to involve her in some of the activities. For instance, she has met the women who came for English lessons, she has been along to a meeting with the young mothers and has already seen and spoken to several people who are part of my life and work here in Latvia.
Deborah has green fingers and has also spent hours working in the garden. Some women who took a look around said it looks like a Botanical Garden 🙂 Curious to see how everything will look when it grows and blooms!

I am now in Latvia for the seventh time and see that Nynke’s calling is still relevant. Also, the vision of Hope for Life is visible through Nynke where she gives out Jesus love and puts Him at the centre of everything she does.
I am impressed by the beautiful encounters with both the women in the church and English class as well as the young teenage mothers. It is special to see how much Nynke and her presence means to so many people.
The cordiality and warmth together with her gift of encouragement are touching to see and it is beautiful to experience what it brings about in the other person.
In her home, Nynke creates a place where everyone can and may be themselves in a respectful and safe environment.
My stay here gives a good insight into Nynke’s life and work in Latvia right now. All this makes me proud of her and of being part of the Let’s go team.
