Bosse and Ilona were back in Ogre. Together with her team of worshippers, they spent an evening at Tabita centre where a women’s evening had been organised. Ilona, through her paintings, took the women through her life and journey with God. There was plenty of room for worship and also testimonies. Afterwards, some of us were able to pray with several women.
The following day, I attended a women’s event organised by the Lutheran Church. Together with a friend, I had been asked to be part of the prayer team. We were able to pray for four women and experienced that we were able to encourage them and that God sees and hears them!
In the evening, Ilona and her team were also here with the paintings, worship and testimonies. Many women were touched and our prayer is that God will continue what He has started in their lives!
Besides Bosse and Ilona who stayed with me for about five days, there were two other guests. For two days, four other women also joined us for lunch and breakfast. A total of nine people from five different countries, amazing how the Lord brings people together!
It was a week of welcoming people and serving in different ways and places. What a privilege it was again to be able to share, pray and laugh with each other during the time we spent together.
